Our latest Overland roast arrives from the farm of Lemma Edeto in the Limu region of Ethiopia, roughly two hundred miles northeast of Yirgacheffe. This third generation family farm grows an indigenous heirloom varietal and processes the coffee on site.
Like our previous Overland roast, this coffee is naturally processed. This means the coffee is dried whole without first removing the bean from the cherry. This can impart an extra layer of flavor to the coffee, like barrel aging a wine or beer.
We are currently obsessed with natural process Ethiopian coffees for this reason, and are so pleased to share this deliciously light and fruity Limu with you.
